Description
NA Contractor shall assist in performing a full range of civil and military installation support activities to include compliance; conservation; pollution prevention; database management; life, health safety planning and assessment activities; and real estate activities. Such activities may involve, but are not limited to: planning, environmental, safety and industrial hygiene, engineering, socioeconomic, and real estate work. Engineering tasks may require experience in geological, civil, and environmental e ngineering. Environmental tasks may require experience in biological, chemical, geological, physical science, hazardous material and hazardous waste management, database management and erosion and sedimentation control plans. Safety and industrial hygiene tasks may require experience in industrial hygiene; developing site-specific work plans with accompanying plans and sub plans, implementation and evaluation of Contractor quality control plans. This will be a firm-fixed priced Indefinite Delivery Indefin ite Quantity type contract that will include a base year and 4 one-year options. The NAICS Code is 562910 with a size standard of $12,000,000. The acquisition is set-aside for 8(a) small disadvantaged qualified concerns and competition for this project w ill be nationwide. This is a Best Value procurement. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government?s best interest. The refore, Offerors are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet and download the solicitation/specifications at the following Internet site: http://www.sam.usace.army.mil/ct. NO TELEPHONE, FAXED OR MAILED request will be accepted. Th ose registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the mailing list. Registration must include the firm?s physical address, telephone, a valid fax number and a point of contact. All notifications of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the Internet. Therefore, Offerors who have registered are required to review the Internet daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. The Request for Proposal will be available for download on or about 28 April 2002 with a closing da te of on or about 29 May 2002. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
