- Description
- The USDA, ARS, Mid South Area, Aquatic Animal Health Research Laboratory, Auburn, Alabama has a requirement for a Beckman-Coulter, Vi-CELL 12-sample carrousel Cell Viability Analyzer or equal. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RFQ 2003-4431-002 is being issued as an Request for Quotation. The NAICS is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. Offerors are to provide quotation for the following Beckman Coulter catalog items or equal: (1) 1ea - #6605769 VI-CELL 12-sample carrousel cell viability analyzer, (2) 1 ea - cat. #383198 Vi-CELL Quad Pak: 4 reagent pak, (3) 1 ea. - #175478 Vi-CELL Concentration Control, (4)1 ea. - #8321517 PC with Grabber Card (configured; for use with RV), (5) 1 ea. - #8309965 15" flat screen monitor (6) 1 each - delivery, integration and training. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTATION FOR CONSIDERATION. Delivery of the equipment shall be made within 30 days after receipt of the contract order and will be delivered to USDA, ARS, Aquatic Animal Health Research Laboratory, 990 Wire Road, Auburn, Alabama 36830. Prices should reflects that they are FOB Destination. Price will include everything identified above. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. These clauses maybe viewed at http://www.arnet.gov/far/ Quotations will be evaluated on price, past performance, and proof of experience with this kind of equipment. Offers should include a list of at least four references to include company name, point of contact, phone number and fax number. References should reflect similar type of work or equipment purchases. Offers to include a commercial warranty for equipment. Offer must include a 30 calendar day acceptance period.
