- NA The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the procurement of 96 each Tray for the 155 MM M776 Cannon Primer Feed Mechanism, in accordance with Drawing Number BL-42137. The procurement will include a 100% quantity option. The option will be evaluated at time of award, the option will be contingent upon receipt of funding. First Article Testing will be required. Delivery is FOB Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York. The approximate solicitation issue date is May 5, 2003 with propo sals due 30 days from issue. The government intends to issue this solicitation by posting it on the Internet, hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. The websites for viewing/downloading this solicitation are: The FedBizOpps at http://w ww.fedbizopps.gov, the Army Single Face to Industry at http://acquisition.army.mil, or the OSC Homepage at http://www.osc.army.mil. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (such as amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. Therefore, it is the contractor?s responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Please note that all vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor?s Registration (CCR) in order to receive a DOD Contract. The technical data package for this solicitation contains information that has been designated as Militarily Critical Technical Data. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office may obtain a copy of this techdata. To obtain certification, call the DLIS at (800-352-3572 or go online at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. Once you are certified, you may request a copy of the techdata by emailing Ms. Alberta Simmons at simmonsa@osc.army.mil. Award of a con tract is contingent upon receipt of funds. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed contract is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification for this requirement is 331528, 500 emplo yees. See numbered notes 8 and 12.
