Description

ISSUE DATE: 05/12/03. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for Leamy Hall Band Spaces Ceiling Tile Replacement at the USCG Academy, New London, CT (New London County). Work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of acoustical ceiling tile in 12 rooms located in the band department spaces of Leamy Hall. In the large band practice room, the existing 2 foot by 4 foot suspended ceiling grid is to be removed along with the tile and replaced with a 2 foot by 2 foot tile and grid system. In the other spaces, the 12 inch by 12 inch tiles are to be removed down to the furring strips and replaced with 12 inch by 12 inch tile utilizing a new concealed z-bar system attached to existing furring strips. Incidental related work. Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 dollars. NAICS code is 238310. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Solicitation packages to be available on or about 05/12/03. The due date for receipt of quotations is on or about 06/02/03.
