Description

NA The work consists of clearing and disposal of debris therefrom; excavate and move existing embankment; placement of geotextile; culvert installation; stone protection to include crushed stone, armorloc blocks, bedding material and riprap; steel pipe instal lation; placement of aggregate surfacing; installation of relief wells; construction of adjacent ditches; construction of pump pads, and concrete outlet structures; establishment of turf; and providing environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. There are fourteen (14) sheets in the set of drawings. The proposed contract listed herein will be awarded under the Partnership Agreement between Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Depa rtment of Defense. There is a geographical restriction on this requirement. Competition is limited to 8(a) contractors located within the geographical area serviced by SBA Regions 4, 5, 6, and 7, which have NAICS Code 237990 among those approved for 8(a) participation. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The Regions include all the states that encompass the Memphis District ? Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. Participation is permitted for 8(a) concer ns in both the developmental and transitional states. Interested 8(a) firms are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible. The services to be procured in this solicitation are classified in Standard Industrial Classifi cation (SIC) Code 1629, NAICS Code 237990. To qualify as a small business concern, the concern must have had average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $28.5 million. In addition to the above, all 8(a) contractors eligible to compete must have bonding capacity over $2,000,000.00. The official copy of this solicitation will be provided on compact disk at no charge.
