- NSN 7R-1650-01-125-7346-GF, Ref Nr 268193-1009, Qty 999 EA, Delivery FOB Origin--The Naval Inventory Control Point intends to solicit a proposal for the establishment of a multi-year Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract for the support of the Trailing Edge Flap and Horizontal Stabilizer Actuator systems utilized on the F/A-18 aircraft. The scope of this effort would encompass repair, modification, overhaul and replacement of hardware, including manufacturing of new material, storage, transportation, requisition processing, product reliability and availability improvement. The only known commercial source to possess full manufacturing and repair capability is Parker Hannifin Corporation in Irvine California. This will also be a partnership effort with NADEP North Island and NADEP Jacksonville. Complete data and full rights to the same required to support performance of this type contract by any other source are not available from the Government. Listed below are a sampling of the more costly system copmponents: Hydraulic Servocylinder, P/N 268193-1011 and Servocylinder, P/N 287800-1009.
