Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) National Risk Management Laboratory Air Pollution and Control Division, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, is requesting sources that can provide a Constant Volume Dilution Sampling System, with the following minimum performance specifications: 1) HEPA filters, tunnel and blower compliant with CFR part 86.1310-2007 heavy duty diesel engine regulations, with a complete secondary dilution system also compliant with CFR part 86.1310-2007 regulations, with 47mm filter holders with backup filter capability. 2) The system must have a minimum flow capability of 700 cfm and a maximum flow of 7,000 cfm infinitely variable from700 to 7,000 cfm. 3) The system shall provide an 18 inch stainless steel tunnel with heated probe and integrated gas sampling system to do real time, time integrated and bag samples of HC-CO-CO2-NOx-NO. 4) Fan or blower motor 480 volt 3 phase. 5) Drawings, diagrams and documentation required for all system components. 6) Must be Underwriters Laboratory or CSA as a complete unit. 7) Integrated gas sampling system capable of real time, integrated gas and bag sampling of HC-CO-CO2-NOx-NO from heavy duty diesels, compliant with CFR part 86.1310-2007 heavy duty diesel regulations. 8) 110 volt single phase power supply. 9) Capable of providing the following analytical ranges: CO low 0-10-200 ppm CO hi 0-50-2500 ppm CO2 0-0.5-20 % HFID 0-1-50 ppmc 0-10-500 ppmc NOx 0-10-500 0-1k-10k NO 0-10-500 0-1k-10k 10) System accuracy of 2%, or better, reading from 10 to 100 % of scale, with not less than 2 %, or less, drift in a 24 hour period. 11) Simultaneous NOx and NO readings-- not switched 12) Non-dispersive infrared analysis (NDIR) of CO and CO2. 13) Chemiluminescent analysis of NO and NOx. 14) HC analyzer provides heated flame ionization detection. Warranty: A one (1) year limited warranty over parts, labor, configuration, and suitability for measurements indicated. Documentation shall be required indicating procedures for proper operation and maintenance of the system. Delivery Schedule: FOB Destination/Research Triangle Park, NC, 120 days after award. The successful contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, services, equipment and facilities necessary to complete delivery of these items under a fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees.
