- This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Soliciation/Request for Proposal. The Soliciation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. The response date referenced above is estimated. Solicitation Issue date is on or about 06/10/03, with the Response date on or around 07/10/03. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Purchase request number: YPE03017000415. NSN: 5905-01-118-3235. Nomenclature: Resistor, Variable, Non Wire Wound, Precision. Contractor First Article Testing applies. Source Waived First Article Testing: Hughes Aircraft (82577) P/N 3472949 and Invensys Sensor System (08815) P/N 200FL1-199. Those offerors not supplying the waived source will be subject to the First Article Testing Requirements. The details and bid set related to the First Article Testing will be made available with the solicitation through the above mentioned website. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS ITEM DESCRIPTION: A Firm Fixed Price Contract (365 days basic with one 365 day option period) is anticipated. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. Deliveries will be to various DLA customers and/or stocking locations. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
