Description

This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about May 12, 2003. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment to design, furnish and install two pedestrian/bicycling trail bridges in Pike County, Pennsylvania, within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. One bridge shall be 94-feet long by 6-feet wide and the other shall be 45-feet long by 6-feet wide. Work shall include all construction surveying, field measurements and verification, design, excavation, disposal of spoil, backfill, compaction, bridge foundations, anchor bolts, unloading of all materials, implementation of soil erosion and sediment control measures, unloading and handling of all materials and erection of the bridges on the sites. The construction estimate is between $25,000-$100,000. NAICS code is 237310; business size $28.5 million. A single award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading the solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. This procurement is being made under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
