Description
This is NOT an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Proposals (RFP), or a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This is a Market Survey to determine whether vendors are available to provide miscellaneous equipment to support Incident Base Camps that are set up to support emergency operations, such as fire suppression. Based on the response to this survey, a determination will be made regarding the feasibility of a contract for this equipment and also regarding the type of agreement or contract to be utilized. We anticipate requesting the following equipment and personnel as the base requirements. We anticipate contracting with one vendor for all of this requirement. Vendors may offer additional equipment if requested: Copy Machine w/paper (2 each); FAX Machine (3 each); Paper Shredder (1 each); Office Trailers, hard wired for phone, and computer networks, 14?x70? (2 each); Office Trailers, hard wired for phone, and computer networks, 10?x36? (10 each); Office Trailers, hard wired for phone, and computer networks, 10?x20? (1 each); Tents, 20? x 20?, with walls, floors, w/air conditioning or evaporative coolers, ADA accessible. (4 each); Area Lighting, light stands, UL approved, w/whisper quiet generators, minimum 6? extension. (6 each); Hand washing unit, minimum 10sinks, hot and cold water, fully contained. (1 each); Generator, Whisper quiet, 100 kvw minimum w/spider boxes, junction boxes and cords. Cords 4-wire, min. 8 gauge. (2 each); Generator, 5 kw, w/light cords and junction box, minimum 200? cords, minimum 12 gauge, 3-wire. (5 each); Refrigerated truck or trailer, 40? with movable dividers and two entrances, with steps and shelves. (1 each); Forklift, minimum 6,000# capacity, with pneumatic tires, all-terrain, with operator (1 each); Pallet Jack, 3000# minimum (1 each); Folding Table, minimum 6? long, durable, splinter free. (30 each); Folding chairs, durable (180 each); Information Boards, free standing, two-sided, 4? x 8?. (6 each); Licensed Electrician, certified, with tools (1 each); Carpenter, with tools (1 each); Camp Crew (20 person); Briefing area, covered, 8? x 16?, state, lights, sound system (1 each); Telephones, 25 handsets of which 10 must be speakerphones and 5 must be cordless (25 each); Garbage cans, 32 gal. minimum, durable (32 each). Interest vendors should respond with their interest and any concerns they may have about this type of contract or agreement. Specifically, answer the following questions: Are there items listed which you could not furnish? Are there barriers to furnishing any of this equipment or personnel? Are there additional services or equipment that could be added? Is there a minimum commitment you would need to enter into an agreement or contract for the equipment and personnel listed?
