Description

1) Note: Contact Points: 1) Lynn Intrepidi, Contracting Officer, 215/861-5501 2) Steve Adams, 215/861-5516, Contract Specialist. 2) Solicitation 3-JC-441-11, a small-business set aside, will be available on http://www.FedBizOpps.gov/ approximately May 12, 2003 (Under Vendors, Acronyms, select DoL, click on Employment and Training Agency "Location," then Philadelphia Region; also on the Job Corps Web Site http://wdsc.doleta.gov/jobcorps/ (On left of screen, under "Announcements", RFPs, click on Centers, select Centers, select Philadelphia Region.) No hard-copy solicitations will be available. 3) Proposals are due July 11,2003. 4) A preproposal conference and site walk-thru are scheduled for Wednesday, May 21,2003 at 10:30 a.m. EST. 5) The resultant cost-reimbursement,incentive-fee contract will run from March 1, 2004 through February 28, 2006, with three unilateral option years. 6) The SBA has issued a new NAICS code for Job Corps Centers, 611519, Other Technical and Trade Schools, with a size standard of $30 million. 6) The average capacity of the Potomac Job Corps Center is 500 students: 265 residential males and 160 residential females; 35 nonresidential male and 40 nonresidential females. 7) The agency will consider proposals submitted by any responsible, small-business source.
