Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued. Engineering Site Visit ? Accomplish an engineering site visit to obtain site-specific measurements for the design of the system and provide plans and drawings stamped by a professional engineer. Drawings must be presented to the customer for review and ap proval. Design ? Provide a single span system providing up to 200? of fall protection with no intermediate supports. Specifications: Tension indicator that allows the system to be periodically inspected and maintained by the customer, and energy absorption system , which provides reduced loads imposed upon the anchorages. The system needs to be a design that will utilize existing building structure for attachment. Loads generated by the fall arrest system are to be sustained in the event of a worst-case scenario fall. Company is to provide the required structural supports for attachment to the building structure and certify load testing and present the appropriate test certificates of all material capabilities. Components of the system are to be a cable-based, s tainless steel fall protection system allowing the system to weather the harshest of environments. User Equipment - System is to include all necessary equipment to fully utilize the system, such as, personnel harnesses, carabineers, tethers, etc... Installation ? Company is to fully install system, providing all of their own installation equipment and assume all liability for the workmanship. Testing and Certification ? Company will inspect, test and certify the system for use. Company to provide annual load inspection requirements and/or recommendations with cost breakdown. Training ? Company will train customer on the correct use, care and maintenance of the system at the completion of the installation and will provide a manual for the maintenance team record. Warranty ? Company to provide warranty on equipment. Offerors who are not registered in the CCR are ineligible for award. Any technical questions can be referred to Lt. Nicholas Caputo (845) 563-2673.
