Description

The principal features of the work include: (1) burying existing overhead distribution lines in conduit; (2) furnishing and installing exposed rigid metal conduit over a cliff edge and down the canyon wall; (3) furnishing and installing a 480-240/120 volt, 15kVA single-phase transformer load center; (4) furnishing and installing pull boxes and disconnect switches; (5) removing and disposing of the existing overhead low-voltage electrical distribution system. The estimated price range of the work is $100,000 to $250,000. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available on 6/12/2003. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before 5/29/2003, and must include Dun & Bradstreet (Duns) number, and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Facsimile request will be accepted at 406/247-7798. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 6/12/2003, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, James F. Batin Court House, 316 N 26th Street, Room 2031, Billings, Montana. The contract is to be completed within approximately 120 days. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additonal sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed free of charge at the address listed above for the Great Plains Regional Office, and at the Bureau of Reclamation, Eastern Colorado Area Office, 11056 W County Road 18E, Loveland, CO. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The small business size standard is $28.5 million, and the NAICS Code: is 237130 (2002), 234920 (1997).
