Description

Project No. B-02-208, Install Playground Equipment for School Age Services (SAS) at Sagamihara Family Housing Area (SFHA), Kanagawa-ken, Japan. Playground equipment, steel benches, risk managment signs and safety rubber tiles will be provided to the contractor as Government Furnished Material (GFM) for this project. Performance Period: 90 calendar days after receipt of award. All offerors are encouraged to participate in site orientation scheduled on 12 May 03, 1000 hrs. Participants will meet at main gate of SFHA. (Advance notice for participation to POC is required. See the POC information below.) NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 5.202(a)(12). LOCAL SOURCES ARE THOSE SOURCES NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERORS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
