Description

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. SOLICITATION NUMBER SSA-RFQ-03-0336-AP IS BEING ISSUED AS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. This acquisition is not set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 423430 and the related small business standard size is 100 employees. The Social Security Administration has a requirement for a)13,700 site licenses for Adobe's Form Client b)13,700 Initial Year of Annual maintenance for Adobe's Form Client and c) 65,300 Annual Renewal Maintenance for Adobe's Form Client (The period of performance for line item "c" is 04/26/03 through 04/25/03). The vendor shall deliver all items FOB Destination to SSA, 2-A-19 Operations Building, 6401 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21235. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, past performance, and other factors considered. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Additionally, the clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items, including: (b)(1), (b)(3), (b)(5), (b)(11), (b)(12), (b)(13), (b)(14), (b)(15), (b)(16), (b)(20), (b)(21), (b)(25), (b)(27), applies to this acquisition.
