NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U.S. Army Fort Carson, Colorado intends to negotiate a sole s ource purchase order with Ortovox, USA, Inc. Hopkinton, NH. This solicitation DABJ13-02-T-0036 is under Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13. IMPORTANT- THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believe it can mee t the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 6 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Ortovox USA, Inc. O nly offerors who are registered in the Central Contractor Database are eligible for award (reference DFARS Clause 252.204-7004 or see web site http://www.ccr.gov/. The solicitation incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acqui sition Circular 01-13. 1 This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. 2. The proposed purchase order will be 100% set-aside for small business, the NAICS code is 334414 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. 3.
