Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.211-6. IT IS STRONGLY ADVI SED that you review FAR Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999) for information regarding what must be included with your quote if you are submitting an 'Equal To' offer. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those i n effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-13 dated (March 18, 2003) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, current to DCN 20030430. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 335311 with a size standard of 750 employees. The quotation is for replacing of existing invertersa with the modular ExelTech and sha ll consist of Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, quantity of one (1), Provide labor and material to remove existing MGE 5kva; CLIN 0002, quantity of one (1), Provide labor and material to install ExcelTech 5kva inverter (one (1) shelf, five (5) 1kva modules. This work will be accomplished at the United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona. If you provide a quotation for other than the Brand Name specified, you must provide the technical information about the product you propose so that a techni cal determination can be made in the review process. FAILURE TO PROVIDE THE EVIDENCE OF ANY EQUIVALENT PRODUCT WILL DEEM YOUR QUOTATION AS NON-RESPONSIVE. All quotes shall be clearly marked with the Solicitation number DABK41-03-T-1501 and e-mailed to Li na.Franks@yuma.army.mil no later than 11:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST), Monday May 15, 2003. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information as required by 52.212-1 cited below, or reject the terms and conditions of this solicit ation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical acceptability and price. NOTE: You M UST include completed Offeror Representation and Certifications with your quote or your offer may be excluded from further consideration.
