Description
NA The Capital District Contracting Center is seeking SBA 8(a) certified firms capable of providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the replacement of deteriorated concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters and other concrete structures, as w ell as installing new concrete structures at Fort Belvoir, VA; Fort Myer, Arlington, VA; Fort Meade, Laurel, MD; Fort McNair, Washington, DC; Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA; Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington DC; and Fort A. P. Hill, V A. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential 8(a) sources prior to issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. The Government intends to award a single contract for each installation; however, one offeror can be awarded more than one contract. The Government intends to award Indefi nite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity contracts for a base period of one-year with four one-year option periods. The magnitude of this requirement is estimated over $10,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 237310 (SIC Code 16 11) with a size standard of $28.5 million. The Contractor MUST have the capability to obtain bonding in the amount of at least $12M. It is requested that interested 8(a) firms submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement demonstrating ability to perform the requirement described above. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: (1) prior/current corporate experience in performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last three years, including contract numb er, organization supported, indication of whether the prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government point of contact and current telephone number, and a brief description of how the contract referenced relates to this requirement; (2) statement regard ing current 8(a) status; and, (3) any teaming arrangements. Submissions must be received no later than 2 pm Eastern Standard Time on 27 May 2003.
