- Description
- This project will consist of slide stabilization and road repair on 200 meters of roadway for the Mendocino Pass Slope Stabilization project in Mendocino National Forest, Glenn County, State of California. Estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This project contains 1 schedule. Principal work items include: surveying and staking; 300 m silt fence; 180 m sediment log; 780 m2 removal of asphalt pavement; 100 m sawcutting pavement; 2250 m3 roadway excavation, 2250 m3 waste material; 49 each ground anchor; 49 each anchor pad; 170 metric tons minor hot asphalt concrete; 65 m inclinometer casing; 85 m asphalt concrete curb; 260 m horizontal drain pipe; 180 m removal and reset guardrail; 20 each replacement post (wood); 10300 m2 each hydraulic and mulch seeding; 10300 m2 erosion control mat; 15 L pavement markings type B; 28 m2 construction sign; traffic control. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued in paper format to all plan holders and will be posted on our website at http://www.cflhd.gov/procurement. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontractor at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
