Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture intends to procure a Twin-Screw Cooker Extruder with screw diameter of 20 to The specifications as a minimum are: minimum screw diameter of 20mm and maximum 30mm; screw speed shall be operable over the range of 0 to 1,200 RPM and provide constant torque over the rang of 1,200rpm down to 120 rmm; drive AC motor of 20 to 30 HP; anti friction gear box; barrel section shall be 100 to 200mm long and electricall heated; minimum of six barrel sections and minimum of a L:D ratio of 24:1 with options for up to ten barrel sections with a L:D of at least 40:1.
