Description
This is a synopsis for procurement of Maverick Missile, AGM-65G, pilot and maintenance training for Hellenic Air Force (HAF) students. The training shall be conducted at Nea Ankhialos Air Base, Greece in support of the deployment/maintenance support of the Maverick, AGM-65G along with the LAU-117 (V) 3/A launcher into the HAF arsenal and will be used on their F-16C/D aircraft. All training shall be based on data available under the FMS program and developed and presented IAW the country configured equipment. General requirement of the Maverick munitions courses include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) Aircrew Operational training class specifically covering the Maverick missile. (a) One pilot course one week in length for the Maverick Missile and the LAU-117 (V) 3 Launcher. (b) Follow-on support of one week for aircrew assist after the Maverick missions are flown in the captive mode. (2) Maintenance training (three weeks in length). (a) Operator & Intermediate level maintenance of the Maverick missile. (b) O & I level maintenance/installation of the LAU-117 (V) 3 launcher or rack . (c) Loading and unloading the weapons. Raytheon Missile Systems Office is the only known source capable of conducting the required training by the required delivery date. Therefore, this requirement will be non-competitive (authorization citation is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1)). Training shall be provided to 20 HAF personnel, ten pilots and ten maintenance personnel. The RFP will be posted approximately 15 days after this notice. The RFP will be accessible via links on this website. In the event an unknown source has the capability to provide this training, they are invited to submit a proposal. Proposals are preferred via e-mail, but may be submitted by mail, express mail, or facsimile. This solicitation is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 611519 and the small business size standard is $6,000,000.
