Description
NA The Questions and Answers in response to the Solicitation are as follows: Question 1. There appears to be a conflict of resource requirements in the solicitation. In the Place and Period of Performance, and Security sections, it states that the Contract Personnel shall be on-site. However, under the section C.1 STATEMENT OF WORK, The Contractor shall furnish the necessary... materials, facilities..., which appears to go against the rest of the specifications. Are we to assume that this is an on-site, government furnished materials and facilities contract? Will the governme nt fund the purchase of the PowerBuilder 9.0 upgrade and/or maintenance support of the PowerBuilder 8.0 development software? ANSWER: All work is to be performed on-site. The Government Furnished Property/Supplies is listed under the Place and Period of Performance in Section C. The Government will not fund the purchase of PowerBuilder 9.0 upgrade or maintenance support of the PowerBuilder 8.0 development software. Question 2. Are the proposed work hours reversed for a Senior Database Administrator labor category versus the Senior Program Manager position? Our experience with ODCSOPS and client/server development indicates that the 900 hours of proposed Senior DBA support is more indicative of application development versus the work normally associated with a DBA labor category. ANSWER: The hours are correct as stated. An development will on be in modification of the current system.
