- Description
- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to construct museum quality display cases, which would preserve the integrity of the objects displayed. All materials in the construction of the cases must be archivally sound, so as not to damage the objects by chemical (off gassing) or physical means. Contractor shall provide all services, including all labor, materials. Supplies, equipment, and supervision of work to be performed in constructing the required display cases for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Milwaukee, WI. 53295. All work will be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and schedule of the subject contract from the date of award thru completion of ready to utilize display cases. The contractor shall develop all necessary graphic designs required for technical and administrative evaluations. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site to fully understand the nature of the work and the conditions under the cases are to be used. Failure to visit the site will not relieve the successful Offeror from performing the work in the true intent and meaning of the specifications. More details can be found in the solicitation. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about May 20, 2003. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. NAICS number is 337212. Size standard is $35,000. Non-personal services. This is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
