- Description
- The Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of spare parts supporting the B-1B Weapon System Platform. All of the spare parts listed in the Bill of Materials are considered fully competitive and will be manufactured in accordance with technical data packages owned by the Government. This is a restricted acquisition, 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This procurement includes, but is not limited to, FSCs 5940 and 5970 for lugs and insulators. The Government anticipates issuing more than one award to Small Business firms meeting the requirements stated in the solicitation. The proposed acquisition will cover a two-year base period and one-three year option period under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ). Minimum order, maximum order, maximum contract quantities, and guaranteed minimum dollar values will be specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Small Businesses are requested to download the RFP and Bill of Materials from the following web address: http://www.dscr.dla.mil/proc/VPV/specacquisitions.htm. click on Specialized Support Programs, then click on, ?Contract Information;? or from the procurement gateway. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the Gateway homepage, select ?Search RFPs? from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is on or about June 17, 2003.
