Description

It is the Government?s intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with MWG Biotech, Inc., 4170 Mendenhall Oaks Parkway, High Point, NC 27265 for the following: (1) Mouse Gene Collection. The gene collection will be used for the production of microarrays for analysis of gene expression changes in tissues form ongoing and anticipated studies. The minimum requirements for a gene collection: Must represent approximately 20,000 mouse genes, must be composed of oligonucleotides approximately 50 bases long, must represent well-described and well-annotated genes, Oligos must be purified, full-length and salt free, Oligos must be c-6 amino modified, must be in a form that is ready to print without further manipulations of the gene segments, must be available in a 96-or 384- well format in customer-specified buffer and plates to allow automated printing of the microarray, must be enough DNA to prepare approximately 1000 microarrays, Oligo sequence information must be available, training in the use of the oligos must be provided, pre-printed slides must be provided for quality assurance procedures, and Gene Ontology functional classification must be provided. A request for quotations is not available. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. See numbered note 22.
