Description

NA The Corps of Engineers has a need for a construction contract for a Remote Control System at Berlin Lake Dam, Berlin Center, Ohio. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, material, and equipment for the installation and testing of the remote con trol system to include; networking different vendors equipment to a common communication network and computerized control system; responsible to provide approved systems integration services and furnish and install all materials, hardware, software, and te sting as required to provide a fully functional and communicating network for the control system as follows: Installation of one PC Remote Control Station Panel (3PLC1), including all wiring to 3PLC1, communications, power, etc.; Interface 3PLC1 to the ex isting PC system to assure all functionality currently available at the local control station shall be available on any remotely located PC. The HMI graphics shall be similar and/or equal to the existing controls; Installation and testing of remote contro l software on a PC in three different places. Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000; The plans and specifications have been placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and Specifications will not be prov ided in a printed paper hard copy format. The CD-ROMs will be available approximately 061203. This procurement will be advertised Pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program established by Public Law 100-656. Business Opportunit y Development Reform Act of 1988, this Procurement will be Unrestricted and any resulting award will be made pursuant to the above program.
