Description
NA Solicitation No. DAMD17-03-R-0018 will be ISSUED ON OR ABOUT 11 June 2003 and proposals will be due on or about 25 July 2003. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and prin t a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments ON OR ABOUT 11 June 2003 at the following website: www.usamraa.army.mil, click on Products, then Solicitations. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr.gov or by calling (888)227-2423. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED AND IS NOT set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541940 with a size standard of $ 6,000,000 in average annual receipts. Scope of Work: Provide World Class performance of all Animal Husban dry and associated services within the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research/Naval Medical Research Center (WRAIR/NMRC). This will include, but not limited to, providing a sufficient number of fully qualified personnel with experience to operate and main tain the WRAIR/NMRC facilities and animals in accordance with The International Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboraotry Animal Care (AAALAC) standards and accredations. All offerors must provide a written technical proposal discussing s pecified technical evaluation factors and cost proposal. Proposals will be evaluated on a Best Value basis and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price contract with priced option contract line items for additional personnel and animal support. The period of performance will include a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.
