Description

NA The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a commercial firm-fixed priced contract on a sole source basis with A.S. Acquisition Corp. DBA LabVantage Solutions, 245 Highway 22 West, Bridgewater, NJ 08807-2580 to prov ide LIMS Technical Support & Software Upgrade Support and LIMSOne SP & Oracle Support for a period of two years. LabVantage is the only company that produces the upgrades and revisions of their software that is proprietary to them. Additionally, years of history has proven that LabVantage has been the only firm that can provide the technical and oracle support necessary to meet the needs of the Material Analysis Laboratory at USAYPG. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13 this acquisition will be issued under th e Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511 with a size standard of $18M. Interested sources may submit technical literature by way of email to Lina Franks, Contract Administrator, Lina.Franks@yuma.army.mil showing their capability of meeting the Governments requirement by close of business on 26-June-2003. This notice of inten t is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be consi dered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
