Description

Lead abatement at four residences and remodeling three of these residences and associated garages. The lead abatement work includes removing and replacing all interior and exterior painted wood trim; replacing the metal clothes hanger piping; covering walls with gypsum board; replacing some of the windows and doors. The remodeling work includes removing and replacing exterior doors, storm doors, remaining windows, garage doors, asbestos cement singles. The work also includes staining, painting, insulating exterior with rigid insulation, soffit and fascia work and re-siding the residences with vinyl lap siding. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitive Program and is NOT set aside exclusively for small business concerns. NAICS Code is 236118. The estimated magnitude of construction is $100,000 to $250,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about July 30, 2003, with bid opening on or about July 30, 2003.
