Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance in with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation R1-04-03-86 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 334111 Electronic Computer Manufacturing. One firm-fixed price contract will be awarded which is the best value to the Government, considering technical capability, past performance and price. Line Item 1 Quantity 6 (HHP Dolphin 7450 or equal) Must meet the following specifications. Integrated Advanced Long Range Scanner (minimum 14 mil at 3-foot range) .32mb Ram, Windows CE 3.0 (or higher), 56 keys ? backlit, 1-D decoding (+2-D if allowed with ALR scanner), one-quarter VGA display, EL backlit,RS-232 communications, Integrated pistol grip, Impact resistant (multiple 5foot drops to concrete), Minimum operating temp range of 14-122 degrees F.IP64 standards for moisture and particle resistance, Weight less than 2 lbs. Intel strong-arm 206Mhz risc processor , 32mb nonvolatile flash memory, Pocket PC 2002 compatible with unit. Free tech support during warranty period.
