Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma AZ has a requirement for a Sodium Hypochlorite Generation System. For this acquisition, the North American Industrial Code is 333999 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The estimated issuance date of the Request for Quotation/Solicitation is July 7, 2003, and the anticipated due date for proposals will be 15 days thereafter. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. The actual dates will be included in the Request for Quotation/Solicitation. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. The solicitation and any amendments or notices will be available at the Department of the Interior website, National Business Center, http://ideasec.nbc.gov and FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Offerors should register at FedBizOpps for email notification pertaining to the solicitation. The Solicitation once issued, may be downloaded from the National Business Center web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The Department of the Interior requires the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source for vendors doing business with the Government. Prospective vendors shall be registered in CCR prior to the award of a contract. Lack of registration in CCR will make the offeror ineligible for award. The Central Contractor Registration Handbook and information on the registration process may be obtained via the CCR web site, http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-800-227-2423. Contractors are also required to register at the Department of the Interior website, National Business Center, http://ideasec.nbc.gov, and place themselves on the Bidders Mailing List to view the Solicitation documents. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
