Description

The Social Security Administration is seeking licensed physicians to provide services as medical consultants in the specialties of orthopedics, internal medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, ophthalmology and speech pathology. Work will consist of reviewing claims/cases of disability determinations for the SSA?s Disability Program. There is no patient contact. Work is to be performed on-site at the Federal Building in Denver, Colorado. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 621112 and the size standard for this code is $8.5M. Resultant contract will be for a base year and four, one year options. Period of performance will be from January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004 (base year). Firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts will be awarded. Solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopops.gov) on or about July 30, 2003. See numbered note 1.
