- Description
- The GSA National Furniture Center is SEEKING SOURCES for Multiple Award Schedule FSC 71, Part III, Special Use Furniture, under Solicitation 3FNH-F6-010003-B, Refreshed #2, New SIN 71-322, for SHIPBOARD FURNITURE. This furniture must be designed or suitable for use on Government ships. Types of furniture include seating, berths, worksurfaces, storage, dining and other furniture units for use in all ship areas. All furniture items shall be products that are listed in or approved for listing in the U.S. Navy Shipboard Furniture Catalog. Proof of listing or approval shall be provided with the offer. To achieve approval and listing, products shall be evaluated by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division to the standards established for shipboard products. For information on standards and requirements for listing, refer to the U.S. Navy Shipboard Furniture Catalog web site at http://www.dt.navy.mil/code97/9780/9783hp.html. Unless otherwise indicated by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, costs associated with submission and evaluation of products by the Navy will be borne by the vendor. Application forms for reviews may be downloaded from the GSA web site at http://www.gsa.gov. Enter "shipboard furniture" in the search field or follow the links to the National Furniture Center site pages. This solicitation has not issued. If any firms are interested in participating in this program, the following information is required to be mailed to GSA at the address listed herein: 1. Copy of your catalog/price list outlining the products you wish to offer. 2. Indicate if you are a manufacturer or supplier (dealer) of offered products. 3. Indicate whether or not your firm is a large or small business. 4. If you are a supplier (dealer) of offered products, indicate the size of the manufacturer. 5. Indicate whether or not you will submit an offer under this program. Once issued, this is a continuous open season solicitation. Resultant contracts will be for five (5) years, with three (3) five (5) year options to your contract, for a total of twenty (20) years if performance is satisfactory. The options are not guaranteed. All resultant contracts will be indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts with $2500 guaranteed minimum for the contract period. All awarded contracts include Industrial Funding provisions.
