Description

This statement of work is for the support of the Excellon Concept IV Drill and the Excellon XL-5 Drill/Router. Scheduled and preventive maintenance shall be performed on each machine and will include, but not be limited to: a. Check/adjust input, frequency converter, and computer supply voltages; b. Align all major/minor axis mechanical and electrical settings; c. Align all Z-axis mechanical and electrical settings; d. Inspect/replace all air filters, safety switches, air regulators, coolant and air fittings; e. Clean and grease lead screws. Two unscheduled emergency service calls per year shall be conducted, and being on-site within 48 hours of the reported problem is required. Minor machine failures shall be repaired by government personnel with contractor-supplied parts. These parts will be supplied as needed. At the completion of the service call, the contractor shall provide a legible service report to include, but not limited to the following: a. A description of all discrepancies found; b. A listing of the actual labor, travel and per diem required; c. A complete list of parts required. Service coverage shall be provided during regular government working hours of 0700-1545 EST, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. NOTE 22 APPLIES AND IS THEREFORE A SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT.
