- Description
- The U.S. Department of Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, requests available information from manufacturers and dealers regarding commercially available, customizable and/or specialized or prototype equpiment available to provide movement of a sensor across a sheet of currency. the movement of this sensor is to be controlled by positing software. Addtional information is available per the attached MS Word file, which may be downloaded at www.fedbizops.gov. All vendors are requested to furnish copies of brochures, literture, specifications, drawings and/or any other information available to the BEP. This information will be reviewed by the BEP in order to assist in the process of procuring new equipment when funding becomes available for this purpose. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS; NO CONTRACT AWARD WILL BE MADE FROM THIS NOTICE. Offerors should forward available information in hard-copy to the BEP, Attn: George Robertson, Contract Specialist, at the following address: Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Office of Procurement, Room 705-A, 14th and C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228. Any courier who hand-carries information must await pickup by a representative from the Procurement Office. The Security officers will not accept delivery of packages. Responses may also be sent by e-mail to george.robertson@bep.treas.gov. Responses are due by 2 pm local time, Friday, July 25th, 2003.
