- This project consists of dredging 100 cubic yards of sediment from the Deer Leap Boat Launch and placing the material in an area designated by the Forest Service. Project includes placement of 30 cubic yards of crushed aggregate for a temporary footing for excavation equipment. This work involves placing filter cloth on the channel prior to placement of the aggregate that is used for the temporary footing and removing the temporary aggregate and filter cloth at the completion of the dredging project. Cost to the Government is not expected to be the controlling factor in the selection of a contractor for this solicitation. The degree of importance of cost as a factor could become greater depending upon the quality of the proposals received for other factors evaluated. The following factors will be used for evaluation of each proposal: Past Performance, Experience and Price. This project is set aside for emerging small business concerns. Estimated price range is less than $25,000. Solicitation will be available on this web site on or about July 16, 2003. Telephone requests are discouraged.
