- Description
- The National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB) is seeking a contractor to develop recommendations for setting achievement levels for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) in the area of mathematics assessment at the twelfth grade level. Specifically, the requirement is to use panels of informed, well-qualified educators and members of the public, whose judgments will be used to develop recommendations of cut scores defining the achievement levels (Basic, Proficient, and Advanced) on the NAEP twelfth-grade mathematics test results. The NAEP mathematics assessment is scheduled to be administered at the national level in a field test at grade 12 in 2004. Data from that field test will provide input for the achievement level setting process. The period of performance will be 12 months.
