Description

Project Number 03-4005 Solicitation Number F33601-03-R-0059. The scope of this project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, appliances, devices, materials, and skills necessary to perform all operations necessary in connection with repairing/restoring brick chimneys located in the on-base housing area of Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Repairs include, but are not limited to the replacement and disposal of deteriorated bricks in order to restore the chimneys to their original appearance. Work also includes the removal and installation of new chimney caps, and bird/rodent screens. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance is 150 days. The NAICS CODE is 238140. The size standard is $12M. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1998, Public Law 100-656 (15 U.S.C. 644 note). There are approximately 35 pages in the solicitation, and 9 pages in the Statement of Work (SOW). 5. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractor Business Assistance Program and F.W. Dodge Division. 6. A registration page is attached to the web-site. You are not required to register; however, when you register you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addendums. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 7. Acceptable proposal packages will include a completed and signed copy of the SF1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation in addition to an accurate proposal for services/supplies to be rendered. There will not be a public bid opening. 8. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. Bids prepared by Debarred, Suspended or otherwise ineligible contractors are at the risk and expense of the contractor. 9. A Site visit has been arranged for 12 AUGUST 2003 at 10:00 am SHARP. Interested contractors must meet at the visitor+s center outside of gate 12A off of State Route 444.
