Description
NA CONTACT INFO: To order a CD, interested firms may either: (1) fax requests to Connie Kindelspire at 509-527-7802; (2) email requests to connie.l.kindelspire@usace.army.mil; or (3) register via the Walla Walla District web page at (http://www.nww.usace.a rmy.mil/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp). To guarantee addition to the bidders list, web page registration should be followed up with either a fax or an email. All requests for a CD must contain the following information: company name, address, busines s size, point of contact with email address, phone number, and fax number. DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers, intends to award a firm-fixed price constru ction contract. Work consists of rehabilitation of sixteen existing mud valves located in the south shore fishway system; installation of bulkhead guide slots on the discharge side of eight existing auxiliary water supply pumps; and rehabilitation of two existing eight-foot butterfly valves, consisting of removal, disassembly, inspection, lead abatement, repair, repainting, reassembly and reinstallation of the butterfly valves. Each of the valves and associated appurtenances are coated with a paint system that includes a lead-based primer. All lead abatement shall be performed off-site at a certified facility. Butterfly valves are rehabilitated on auxiliary water supply pumps No. 7 and No. 8 only. The estimated completion date for this work is April 15, 2004. This procurement is ope n to both large and small business concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28,500,000.
