Description
NAICS Code: 325510 EPA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Adsil Corporation, Palm Coast, Floria, pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. EPA requires a firm that will assist in the identification, preparation, and application of the Adsil coating to existing air conditioning (A/C) evaporators, condensers and fans. Application of the coating is part of a pilot study to evaluate the possible energy-related benefits of coating A/C units in the Charlotte, NC, area. The Adsil coating product to be used for this project is a type of Ambient Temperature Glass (ATC) product that is patented and manufactured solely by the Adsil Corporation. Application of the product can only be accomplished by Adsil or a trained and certified Adsil distributor to ensure full benefits of the coating and also warrantees. Adsil is the only known firm that can meet the requirements. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of this notice to Karen Watson at the above address which shall be considered by the Agency. Responses must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet the requirement. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with Adsil Corporation.
