Description
MULTI-PHASED PROJECT, only those contractors with a successful tract record of completing similar type projects need apply. This project consists of renovating approximately 18,460 square feet of existing building and expanding the building by approximately 15,076 square feet. The existing site is approximately 2 acres and the adjacent parcel is approximately 1.8 acres. Work includes, but not limited to, site development, site improvements, sediment control, earthwork, site utilities, storm water management system, site paving, lighting, landscaping, fencing, exterior concrete, exterior signage, as noted on drawings and specifications. Building work will consist of concrete, brick and CMU masonry units, EIFS, interior painting, resilient flooring, acoustical ceiling, carpeting, millwork, metal doors and frames, door hardware, toilet partitions and accessories, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, roofing, EAS panels, and CCTV system, and signage as noted on the drawings and specifications. This facility will remain in operation during this renovation and expansion. The safety of our employees and customers are of prime concern. The contractor must take all steps necessary to protect all personnel while on site. The security of the mail and that of the occupied portions of the post office must be maintained at all times. The estimated price range is between $3,700,000 and $3,900,000 with completion within 580 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Contractors must be licensed in the state of Maryland. Performance and Payment bonds (100%) for the awarded amount of project will be required from the successful offeror within ten ( 10) calendar days of the Notice of Intent to Award.
