Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Kara Parker to aid CDRH in the process of drafting a final rule for the Physical Medicine Devices: Revision of the Identification of the Iontophoresis Device. The services sought are to review the comments that were submitted under the proposed rule and to develop a concept paper and workplan with the Center in order to draft the final rule. Ms. Parker has a very strong background in drafting regulations and she worked for the Food and Drug Administration in the Office of the Chief Counsel for six years reviewing regulations for the Center of Devices and Radiological Health. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources may submit descriptive literature which fully demonstrates their capabilities, which will be considered by the agency. This sole source procurement is being awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5.
