Description

Project No. ZNRE 03-1115A6, Replace A/C System, 421, Yokota Air Base. Work scope on this project includes but is not limited to: Civil Work (Construct new concrete block fence with steel gate; Construct new concrete slab; Replace new concrete sidewalk; Construct new storm line and manhole; Relocate existing trees; Remove existing sidewalk & curb and construct new A.C pavement), Mechanical Work (Remove asbestos containing materials (pipe flange gasket); Replace existing water cooled A/C system with new air cooled A/C system; Replace existing circulation pump with new) and Electrical Work (Remove existing 300kVA pad mounted type transformer and associated cables and other equipment, Relocate existing 150kVA transformer cubicle; Install new 400kVA transformer cubicle; Replace existing 200A pole air switches with new 300A type; Remove wirings and conduits for existing A/C system; Install wires and conduits for new A/C system; Modify existing control panel ?P-1?). Performance Period: 180 calendar days. Site Orientation is scheduled for 26 Aug 03, from 1000, Bldg 620, Yokota Air Base, Japan. Please notify the Point of Contact in advance if you wish to receive the solicitation package and participate in the Site Orientation. All offerors are highly encouraged to participate in this scheduled tour. NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES, WHICH ARE NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
