Description: The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for a firm-fixed price supply contract. It is required that the Contractor furnish, in accordance with the contract provisions and clauses, and the specifications, gate valve replacement for the Folsom Pumping Plant. The gate valves shall be delivered to the Bureau of Reclamation's Central California Area Office, 7794 Folsom Dam Road, Folsom, California 95630-1799, in Sacramento County. The principal components of the work to be performed under the specifications include the following: a. Furnish gate valves with electric motor operators, and b. Furnish gate valves with manual operators. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Period of performance is 240 days. This acquisition is solicited pursuant to "Full and Open Competition," all responsible sources are permitted to compete. Please note: FAR Clause 52.219-4 "Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone small business concerns" applies. The NAICS Code is: 332911 and the size standard is 500 employees. Solicitation 03SI201020 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 19, 2003. The estimated date for receipt of bids is on or about September 19, 2003. Details concerning the preproposal conference and how to register will be in Section L of the solicitation. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at the above site. No paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed.
