Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a firm-fixed price order under NAVAIR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number N00019-00-G-0280 for the procurement of initial spares for Taiwan Aircraft 5 & 6, for which Northrop Grumman is currently under contract to produce. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this order on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714. Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer and systems integrator of the E-2C aircraft and weapon system and, as such, is the only firm with knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to provide the required supplies and services in a timely manner for the purposes of meeting the fleet’s operation needs.
