Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has a requirement to revise and enhance the Visual Test Shell (VTS) software. VTS is managed as an "open source" software development project using Source Forge. Contractors should demonstrate experience in software development using object-oriented design, C++, the Microsoft Visual C 6.0 development environment, and Microsoft Foundation Classes for managing dialog boxes and active control. The requirement is a set aside for small businesses only. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541511; size standard is $21.0 million. The period of performance will be six months from date of award. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. The solicitation number SB1341-03-Q-0779 is issued utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is available via the Internet, http://www.fedbizzops.gov.
