- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F04684-03-T-0029 and will be issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The NAICS code for this requirement is 423440 and the size standard is 100 employees. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. There will be three (3) line items for this requirement. One line item for the purchase, the second line item shall be for the installation and the third shall be for freight charges. Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, transportation and supervision necessary to provide for the delivery and installation of thirty-seven (37) groups of three (3) built-in lockers (a total of one hundred and eleven (111) lockers). The specifications are as follows: single tier 60?opening height, no legs, no slope tops, eighteen (18) inches wide and twenty-one (21) inches deep. Lockers will have stainless steel recessed handle, latch guards welded to the doorframe to prevent tampering, fourteen- (14) gauge diamond perforated doors to allow maximum air flow while providing security. Lockers shall have fourteen- (14) gauge steel for the doors, sixteen- (16) gauge steel for the sides, tops, bottoms, and shelves. All lockers shall accept built-in locks or padlocks and have rubber bumpers on the latch hooks to reduce noise. Perforated group ends are required to end a row of lockers. The locker color shall be NAVY. Please include product literature for each line item. Due to the nature of this product, there will be a site visit held 21 August 2003 @ 9:00 A.M. PST. It is highly encouraged that all offerors attend the site visit. All bidders who plan to attend the site visit must submit the names of personnel from your firm no later than 20 August 2003 @ 1:00 P.M PST. Please include the personnel?s name, company and social security number.
