Description

MICROSOFT TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES: HQ ACC CONS, Langley FB, VA intends to negotiate a non-competitive, sole source, commercial purchase order with Microsoft Consulting Service for technical support services to include labor, support services, and travel to Air Combat Command facilities as required. Air Combat Command is in the process of migrating its current base-centric Windows NT4 architectures to a single Windows 2003 Active Directory architecture. The target architecture promotes Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) centric operations and rationalized and standardizes the disparate NT domains throughout Air Combat Command. The services to be provided are in support of Active Directory deployment. Engineers will provide Air Combat Command personnel the core knowledge and assist them in deploying Active Directory across the command. The services are in conjunction with services being provided under F44650-03-P-0020. There is currently no known contract for services to migrate from a base-centric Windows NT4 architecture to enterprise Windows 2000 Active Directory architecture. This procurement is authorized in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). The proposed solicitation is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation document exists. Telephone requests will not be honored. A determination by the government to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
