Description

This is a notice to SUSPEND the issuance of a firm fixed priced contract until further notice. Narrative Description: an Air Force type B7-16 maintenance stand. The maintenance platform consists of a base assembly a hydraulically operated movable stair arrangement, and an upper work platform. The base assembly is equipped with pneumatic tires and can be steered through use of a tow bar. The stairs and platform can be adjusted to any height within the specified range listed below, permitting maintenance personnel to gain access to various areas of the aircraft. A locking ring assembly is provided to prevent the platform from falling down due to loss of hydraulic pressure. Leveling jacks are available to stabilize and correct for uneven terrain. A vehicle can tow the platform where hand movement would be time consuming. A static discharge reel is provided for grounding. The platform is made of steel and must meet current OSAH and AFOSAH standards.
