NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Fort Carson, Colorado intends to award purchase of 5,000 each coins. This solicitation DABJ13-03-T-0044 is under Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13. IMPORTANT- THIS NOT ICE IS A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Any firm that believe it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. If no responses are received, the Govern ment will proceed with the suggested source. Only offerors who are registered in the Central Contractor Database are eligible for award (reference DFARS Clause 252.204-7004 or see web site http://www.ccr.gov/. The solicitation incorporates provision and cl auses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-13. 1 This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. 2. The proposed purchase order will be unrestricted, the NAICS code is 541430 and the small business size standard is under 6 million dollars. 3. The agency need is for the following: CLIN 0001, Operation Iraqi Freedom Coins, Qty: 5000, U/I: ea., 2 inch Alloy 230 brass, Eight Gauge, with antique finish and lacquer protective coating. Two color epoxy enamel fill on side one and three color epoxy e namel fill on side two. Coin diamond cut on both sides. 4. Required delivery date: 26 Sept 2003, 5. Ship to: DOL ??????
